This blog will serve both to provide current information on trees and forests and to discuss resources on my main website, Trees of PA. I don’t anticipate having it fully functioning until the middle of September, but there will be a lot available before then.
I am making this effort becaue I believe:
- Most people do not know about many of the great resources that we have available to us in PA to aid in learning about our trees and forests. I will try to make it as pain free as possible to find the resource you need.
- Far too many landowners don’t understand their role in planning for generations to come. Therefore, a considerable amount of the material presented here will serve as part of an ongoing effort to provide the information that may convince at least some of them to change their thinking.
